IPCRG Qualitative Research School recap

07 Aug 2023

The IPCRG Qualitative Research School has proven again to offer high quality education, taking forward our aim to improve the capacity of primary care to deliver respiratory research. 14 delegates from 7 countries learnt how to design, implement and write up a qualitative study to answer the research question: 'A qualitative study exploring the views of primary healthcare professionals on joint working with pharmacists to optimise asthma control' (one of the IPCRG research prioritisation top 10 areas).

A very high level of satisfaction was recorded, with all participants stating that the course was pitched at the right level. The course was delivered 60% online and 40% in person at the Scientific Meeting in Munich. This allowed different skills to be developed, including writing up results following the process of coding, identifying themes and analysis.

We would like to thank Alice Malpass, Amanda Farley and Tracey Stone again for their efforts in delivering the course and sharing their expertise.
