Patient-centred Statements - guiding IPCRG's Change Programmes

IPCRG has developed new Patient-centred Statements for Asthma Right Care and COPD Right Care, describing what people with asthma and COPD deserve in terms of prevention, diagnosis, management, review and when control is poor. The statements were discussed at WONCA Europe 2023 and we have begun to describe the implications for learning and teaching primary care, in terms of “Know - Know how to do - Do”. This will guide our work priorities over the next year as we continue to develop practical resources to offer primary care for each statement.
