 11th IPCRG World Conference & 2nd Ibero-American Primary Care Respiratory Meeting Malaga, Spain and online

We’re delighted to announce that the 11th IPCRG World Conference & 2nd Ibero-American Primary Care Respiratory Meeting will be held at the Trade Fair and Congress Centre, Málaga, Spain 5-7 May 2022. This is the first opportunity for our global primary care respiratory community to meet in person in four years. Our theme is Reunite, Evaluate, Advance; Reunirse, Evaluar, Avanzar. to reflect on the importance of networking, discuss the impact of the pandemic on knowledge and behaviour in respiratory health, and continue to advance thinking about improving primary respiratory care. For those unable to join in person, we offer a virtual delegate option allowing access to live streamed sessions and e-posters.

Our Scientific Programme Committee has developed an inspiring programme with high quality speakers from the global respiratory primary care and public health community, addressing many of the issues we face today including climate action for health, prevention, diagnosis and management of infectious and non-communicable respiratory problems common in primary care. Much of the conference will be bilingual – English and Spanish.  We aim to showcase Spanish speaking experts from Spain and Latin America. Each session, drawing on the latest evidence, will include a discussion about the implication for primary care practice and shared decision-making with patients.

The conference will feature a virtual ePoster Showcase from successful abstract authors. For those attending in person, we are designing Conversation Cafés to enable discussion of e-posters with peers. Abstracts can be submitted and displayed in English or Spanish.

The Call for Abstracts will be issued on 5 November 2021. The deadline for abstract submissions is 31 January 2022.
