Asthma Right Care - June 2022 update

We are delighted to report two Teach the Teacher Asthma Right Care national level teachers (Tier 2) programmes have been run - in person in Panamá, Costa Rica, República Dominicana, Guatemala and Honduras, and online in Brazil.

We have set up an Asthma Right Care Strategy Group to oversee and steer Asthma Right Care activity, and to integrate other work such as the asthma diagnosis jigsaw, IPCRG guidance on personal asthma action plans, inhaler technique training and how to integrate asthma into the family medicine consultation. The Education Committee, the four pilot countries and community pharmacy are represented by: Jaime Correia de Sousa, Education; Alan Kaplan, Canada; Francesc Moranta, pharmacy; Vince Mak, UK; Mar Martinez, Spain and Cláudia Vicente, Portugal.
