Russell Emeny

Senior Project Manager

Russell is a registered nurse and a graduate of the NHS management training scheme. He spent 38 years in the NHS, in clinical, operational management, commissioning and senior improvement roles. He was deputy CEO of a large, multi-site NHS Trust and for ten years was Director of the well respected NHS Emergency Care Intensive Support Team (ECIST) . During 2019, he contributed to work to prepare the NHS national outpatient transformation programme to deliver the objectives of the NHS Long Term Plan. In November 2019, Russell moved into independent healthcare consultancy and executive coaching, working with NHS and independent health care organisations to improve service delivery. Russell has written several NHS best practice guides, designed practical improvement tools and lectures in leadership at Plymouth University Medical School. He joined IPCRG in February 2022 as a Senior Project Manager.
